The Art Director is responsible for managing and leading the design pipeline in conjunction with the show creators. Possessing a strong background in art direction, visual development and supervision, the Art Director effectively manages creative tasks, quality and team continuity while working with the design supervisors, layout supervisor and production team to ensure adherence to production timelines, processes and scheduling.

As an integral member of our team, the Art Director plays a key role in bringing our 2D animated series to life with exceptional artistic skill and excellent team management skills. Ultimately, the key focus area for the Art Director is the elevation of design outcomes of the show.

Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience working in 2D animation and 7+ years experience in a similar role.

• Ability to analyse and synthesize complex information and ideas.

• Consultative, collaborative, global working style.

• Strong time management and organisational skills, working effectively to deadlines.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite and Toon Boom Harmony

• Confident presentation and facilitation skills.

• Able to lead a client focused approach to deliver shows to their expected standards.

• Effective leadership and management of large teams.

• Written and verbal communication skills, ensuring that the necessary information is flowing across Production and within the Department.

• High degree of professionalism, maturity and initiative.
